Aikikai Hombu Dojo - Aikikai Hombu Dojo (合気会 本部道場) is the headquarter of the Aikikai which is an umbrella organization of various national aikido organizations. The dojo (training location for martial arts) is located in Tokyo and was founded by Morihei Ueshiba in 1927.
Shumeikan Dojo - The Shumeikan Dojo is the Dojo of Nobuyoshi Tamura Shihan inaugurated in 1995 and administered by the Ecole Nationale d'Aikido association. It is located in the village of Bras, in Provence, France on the site of a former hotel (L'Hôtel des Allées).
Iwama dojo - Iwama dojo is a small practice hall located in the town of Iwama in Ibaraki Prefecture. It is here where the founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba, lived since the 1940s until his death in 1969.
USAF Shihan - A Shihan in the United States Aikido Federation (USAF) is a high-ranking instructor of Aikido, holding the rank of at least 6th dan, associated with Aikikai Hombu Dojo through the USAF. Initially, the only Shihan in America came directly from Hombu Dojo, but since 2004, several notable North American instructors have been granted the title by Hombu Dojo as well.
